Wholesome, 100% organic EU certified

w CERTIFIED ORGANIC FEED
Fed with high quality organic feed.
Organic certified for the European market.

w NO HORMONES
No hormones are used in raising our shrimp.

w NO ANTIBIOTICS
We never use antibiotics in our shrimp. We grow and harvest in the low-disease months only. Also we add to the water a very expensive, natural garlic and ginger extract to keep disease at bay.

w NO SULFITES

Shrimp oxidizes (melanosis), generating blackish stains in the shell. Some producers add sulfites to halt the oxidation process. However, sulfites can cause severe allergic reactions in people. Food recalls due to undeclared use of sulfites take place in the US. According to the FDA, only 10 milligrams of sulfites per serving can cause life-threatening allergic reactions.

A truly organic, artisanal raised shrimp

Organic Certified, our white shrimp (Panaeus Vannamei) is farm-raised with a focus on all-natural quality and environmental stewardship, rather than obtaining larger shrimp, massive production, or constant supply throughout the yeary.

Limited seasonal harvest to avoid high-disease months

There are seasons in which disease is very likely to hit shrimp populations. .

The shrimp is harvested only twice a year, in periods of two months each time. We do this to avoid high disease seasons, and hence dumping in the water antibiotics to keep our stocks safe. Also, because of the limited time the shrimp has to grow, our average shrimp size is relatively small, about 120 grams per whole shrimph.

Outstanding flavor coupled with wholesomeness

Most of the production goes to the highly regulated and demanding European market, where the flavor of our shrimp is valued over shrimp size.

Yes, you can find the big prawns and shrimp in the US, but how about the flavor...or lack of? and how about the way they were raised, and the substances used to grow them to those sizes? Or if you buy wild shrimp, you should question what fishing practices were used to catch them, and the country of origin.

Protecting the mangroves

The farming practices used in the farms are different, and aim to prevent the further destruction of the mangroves caused by the shrimp industrial-farming businesses.
